Super fans were given the opportunity to take a photo with the cast, watch an advanced screening of the new season and engage in a producer talk back all while spilling the tea over specialty cocktails.

Alongside The Undefeated, we created an intimate branded experience to act as a home-base for the athletes during their stay for the ESPYS by taking over Mr.C Seaport.
Galileo: Money20/20 Conference
Money20/20 is the world’s leading, premium content, sales and networking platform for the global money ecosystem. Idlewild was tasked with developing the overall activation strategy & thematic creative for Galileo’s experience at the Money 2020 Conference to raise brand awareness and engagement. The 2021 Conference saw a leap in the number of attendees scheduling meetings with Galileo advisers to learn more about their services.

Idlewild supported the REVOLT x AT&T Teams in rethinking their annual Music Conference to a virtual format.
Our production teams across the country captured over 25 Workshops & Masterclasses, HBCU-themed music performances and executive hosted Office Hours that fed into digital, linear & in-app platforms.
Custom launch event for SoFi’s Get That Raise Tool. Developed the overall event strategy and creative inclusive of custom-built stage & Instagram photo moment as well as other fun activations.
Complex Networks partnered with Idlewild to unveil its 2020 brand strategy & programming slate at their 2019 ComplexCon Festival in Long Beach, CA. The Upfront-like program hosted nearly 500 Complex partners and advertisers and featured a VIP cocktail reception and keynote presentations, and a surprise performance.
Executive Produced the 5-day experience during SXSW Interactive Conference, for 250+ diverse college students. Managed 10 events and activations, 3 official SXSW panels, and oversaw activations for the 30+ tech companies and sponsors who networked with students to offer full-time positions or summer internship opportunities.
With over 500,000 attendees in 2018, the ESSENCE Festival is the largest cultural gathering of African Americans in the world and one of the largest live events in the U.S. Our work included the oversight of double-digit growth of sponsorship revenue and management of 40+ sponsorship.
Walmart + ESSENCE Wellfest
Wellness-themed multi-market tour with ESSENCE & Walmart in 6 markets across the U.S. over 3 weekends in June 2019. Idlewild supported in overall strategy, concept development and oversaw production, execution and sponsor activation.
ESSENCE Festival: Exponential Growth
We supported the expansion of the event into an experiential powerhouse inclusive of an increase to nearly 20 content-driven stages & experiences and at least 10 annual custom brand activations.

ESSENCE Festival Activations. Idlewild oversaw all production and execution of WW’s activations over the weekend inclusive of booth design & build out, stage moments, workshops, talent, and off-site pop-up events.
Gilead US Conference HIV & AIDS
In a new world, Idlewild produced and pivoted GILEAD’s USA Conference on HIV and AIDS to a virtual format to position Gilead as a courageous ally to the Black community by providing virtual experiences for how we can together create a different world.
In this format we were able to reach its largest audience and bring the conference's messaging home with personalized gifting, a format we do not see going away.
